We hope to relaunch the community laundry in partnership with Fife Council in October. The laundry works on the same principles as the foodbank. People are referred from frontline services and volunteers can support customers with laundry skills. Referrals can be due to a number of reasons – Lack of laundry facilities, high fuel bills- creating difficulty with drying laundry in the winter, lack of skills. Customers are expected to do their own laundry with the support of volunteers who can also assist with sign posting customers to other agencies.
